It was Lyn’s great privilege to spend time with Rita and Ruth from the USA on Thursday. Rita was one of the very first Big Apple Greeters in New York where the greeter service was founded by Lynn Brooks. The group commenced their journey in The Rocks, visiting interesting laneways and sights before grabbing a coffee and hopping on a ferry to Barangaroo. After a delicious lunch at Darling Harbour, they wandered up to the Town Hall, Queen Victoria Building and Hyde Park. They parted then to allow Rita and Ruth some time to regroup before they headed off to Lady Macquarie’s chair to attend the harbourside outdoor cinema in the evening. #SydneyGreeters #IloveSydney The Global Greeter Network

The benefit of being a Greeter is to have the possibility to meet other fellow Greeters while being on holiday overseas, learn from them about the local culture and get tips for your onwards travels. Sydney Greeter Mario had the pleasure to meet Jean-Claude from Paris Greeters and explore the artist suburb Montmartre together. The Global Greeter Network
